The Aqua Circular Online Conference 2021 is organized by the Aquademica Foundation.
The partners of this event include water operators (Aquatim, Aquaserv, Münchner Stadtentwässerung), academic environment (Politehnica University of Timișoara, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași, National Technical University of Athens, University of Exeter) and other Research& Innovation organizations (Business Development Group, EIT Climate-KIC, WATERSHARE, KWR Water Research Institute, The Galilee Society, Greener Than Green Technologies, Agricola International SA Bacau).
For two days (7th and 8th of October 2021), in unconventional circumstances forced by the health crisis, the conference will (virtually) create the best environment for debates on emerging innovative technologies, regional policies, barriers and business models. Aquademica will provide technical support for Romanian-English live interpretation.

The conference is going to be an innovative mixture of presentations, circular water project presentations and debates, aiming to create business opportunities in regional markets and to build strong partnerships among regional water operators, decision-makers and technicians from regional utilities, local industry and agriculture, local start-ups, regional universities and R&D centers, technology providers, local and central administrations.
Aqua Circular On-Line Conference 2021 is intended to promote innovative solutions for all the interested stakeholders in Western Romania and also from the neighboring regions from Hungary and Serbia. The main objective of the conference is to organize the framework for matching demand and supply in the circular water sector, with the aim of improving the competitiveness of local stakeholders within the regional water market.

The innovative concept of circular economy and its relation with the implementation of the National Strategy of Sustainable Goals for Romania by 2030 will attract specialists, students, engineers and managers, NGOs and public officers, as well as future water leaders, who are able to design and implement innovative solutions, with the aim of having a holistic approach on the future sustainable development, despite any barriers they could encounter.
